With this, the organization is looking for smart, seasoned and aggressive professionals to drive channel sales efforts across its target markets and geographies.
Opportunity Description
The Business Development Representative will focus on developing new qualified sales opportunities for the Aurachain platform and supporting their direct sales counterparts in marshalling those opportunities to closure through direct engagements with cross sector client organizations.
In this role, the Business Development Representative will focus first and primarily on generating qualified leads for the Aurachain platform. This will involve development of target prospect lists, contacting those prospects through daily phone canvassing efforts, identifying prospect needs and goals and persuade prospects to commit to discovery calls with the BDR’s sales counterparts. The BDR will also work in collaboration with Aurachain’s Marketing team to help develop and action campaigns that support BDR lead generation efforts, execute follow up on those campaigns and provide feedback on the overall effectiveness of this effort.
The individual holding this role will be supported in their day-to-day efforts primarily by the Manager of Prospect Outreach Programs in addition to the Chief Marketing Officer and their assigned Sales counterparts.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in B2B sales and business development – preferably in the SaaS space, alternatively in other fast-paced sales environments e.g., recruitment
- Proven track record of above quota achievement
- Demonstrable experience of prospecting to both technical and line of business stakeholders at both the mid management and C-level.
- Proven depth of business acumen and solution selling skills that combine to deliver compelling business centric customer solutions.
- Ability to establish clear value propositions via excellent communication
- Demonstrates urgency and has a strong tendency towards action
- Can illustrate from background experience working in team-based sales approach.
Job Responsibilities
- Meet and exceed established goals for generating qualified sales opportunities.
- Identify prospects within target regions, accounts and industries (including Banking, Insurance, Financial Services, Supply Chain…) that match Aurachain’s ideal customer profile
- Connect via telephone with target buying influences within these organizations.
- Research business drivers/angles for tailoring initial approach through use of media, industry publications and networking
- Position and communicate the Aurachain value proposition across all pertinent buying influences within target opportunities.
- Establish follow up meetings with qualified prospects and direct sales counterparts
- Support direct sales counterparts in the ongoing lifecycle of the sales engagement through communications with external prospects and internal Aurachain sales pursuit teams.
- Support the development of opportunity plans, account intelligence, relationship maps, urgency, timeframes, competitors
- Collaborate with the Aurachain marketing team on the development and campaigns to support BDR lead generation efforts.
- Timely reporting on sales activity in Hubspot CRM.
- Provide critical input for fine tuning the effectiveness of the BDR function as part of the Aurachain go to market sales strategy.
- Keep abreast of products, market conditions, competitive activities and industry trends.
- Represent Aurachain at regional direct and partner driven events.
